Up to once a week, you can take IELTS with IDP (four times a month). For global test dates, the IDP schedule is 48 days per year. If a candidate is not satisfied with his or her results, he or she can retake the exam three months after the first one.

IELTS Syllabus

Reading

The reading module consists of three general-interest works. Both reading modules have three passages or sections with a total of forty questions in each. Multiple-choice, sentence or summary completion, identifying facts for short-answer questions, and recognising writer's views/attitudes are some of the dierent types of questions.

Listening

Listening is divided into four sections. The first two discuss social demands and the last two talk about the issues related to education; all lasting three minutes. These exchanges can be only heard once. Multiple choice, short-answer questions, note completion, and more are dierent types of questions asked.

Writing

Writing is divided into two tasks. Task 1 consists of writing 150 words after looking at a diagram or data and expressing it in your own words. Whereas, in Task 2, applicants are given a point of view or argument & asked to provide general factual information, present a solution, and so on.

Speaking

The Speaking part is arranged like an interview, with a focus on general speaking abilities. It determines if candidates possess the necessary knowledge and abilities to converse actively with native English speakers.
